How is everyone ?!? I am just going to say that I feel like I am in a bubble, there is no such thing as a world. I am so protected here on the mission and then our mission is out in the middle of nowhere !! :) just thought I would let you know. I have been talking to some of the new Americans and what they are saying is just going right over my head... I am pretty old in the mission too..... so just a random thought there.
This week has been full of different little things happening. We had Zone interviews. I love spending time around President. He is so amazing :) We had a citywide brown out that lasted all day, it was so dark !!! :)
So this week I really don't have anything new that happened with investigators but I really want to share with you something that has changed my life and my mission.
I read a talk by a CES teacher and stake president called the Mortal Christ. In it he said something that we all need to listen to.
We need to know Christ more than we all do now. As members, we can be special witnesses of Jesus Christ but first we need to know him. Really know him not just know about him. One of the ways that we can do that is to do everything that Jesus Christ did which was always being about his Father's business. His Father's Business should be ours which is in Moses 1:39 (to bring to pass the immortality and Eternal life of man). If we want to know Christ and really know him we must do the things that he did. We need to really pray not just pray but PRAY. Talk to him like you would a friend and ask to do his will. That is something that I am really working on. I am going to share an experience that I shared with my Mission President. I have found the being exactly obedient is the only way to go. I chose to break the schedule one day this week, I thought it would be fine to stay up a few extra minutes. What I found actually shocked me! When I choose what I want to do and it is against the rules I lose out on those blessings that Heavenly Father is willing to give me but can not because of my disobedience. Even just a simple act like staying up a little later than 10:30 affected the spirit that I had the next day. I lost the protection that comes from obedience. Through that experience I now have a testimony that I NEED to be exactly obedient in all things.
We need to learn how to please Father! We need to learn how to "court" the spirit in our lives. If we do that we will always be happy :) Just like him I think one of my fears in life is to not have the spirit. I am glad I could share this quick testimony with you :) Please Prepare for a mission :) I love it and I know you will too :)

Hi everyone,
I am out of time this week, so its going to be a short letter, hopefully my mommy can put something together :)
Conference was amazing :) and as always, I had a few questions and conference was amazing. :) Its the best 2 things that ever happen in this world in a year :) All of the talks give us ways to improve and ways to become more Christlike :) I love it :) I also think its cool that they have been starting to do different languages. My favorite talk was the one by president Uchdorf, I ask that question to myself many times a day now "Lord, is it I ?" Am I doing everything I can to be a better disciple of Christ :) I also like the focus on the Power Of Prayer :) I have no idea what I would do with my life without the power of prayer. :)
My area is doing great. We have been working hard to work with the members here. They are amazing. Our baptisms got pushed back because of some word of wisdom problems that were hidden :) So I am sad but at the same time it is going to give them more time to be repentant and really understand the importance of Baptism. :)
I really don't have to much to talk about sorry pretty lame yung letter ko.
I love you all :) I really do :)

Kamusta Everyone :)
So, first things first! It is weird being in a city again. There are actually people to teach at night time. Coming from the rural part, it is a big change. The biggest being the class of people that we talk to. There are people with tattoos and big houses and lots of earrings..... I don't know what I am going to say when I go back to America. Its probably way worse there. You would think that if you share a ward with the AP's and Zone Leaders of your mission that that Ward would be an example ward on how to do missionary work. False. It's about the complete opposite. Lets just leave it at that.
I want to share with you about a family. The family of Bro R. They have 3 kids and are just an amazing family. They are getting baptized on the 18th of October. They have been facing a lot of opposition but they are rock steady in their decision to get baptized. No matter what they come to church. Tatay is a super sweet guy and is just worried about being worthy to hold the Priesthood and be baptized. We shared with them about the temple and how they can be sealed together. They said that they can not wait to get baptized and go through the temple. We have just been finding and finding. Working with the members and finding their friends. :) Opening an area is hard but the Lord really knows that we need to be here. Let me share just one more story. So we set up a member visit at a time of 3:30. When we got there the member said that we were early and if we could come back about an hour and a 1/2 later. Well I didn't understand that, but that was a blessing. The member we were visiting lived in a boarding house. When we came back the 2nd time they invited their friend, J, who said that she was looking for something in her life but did not know what it is. We shared with her and she said, now I know that this is it. :) It was a really cool experience. If we would have shared when we should have, we would have never met J. The Lord's hand is in all things :) I know it. I love the Lord and can not wait for conference :) Its my last one on a mission :/ I don't know what to think.....
Anyway I love you all :)
