Merry Christmas :)
Well this week I started getting out my Christmas decorations. I unwrapped my nativity set, replaced some lights in the house. We made some stars for our little tree. The next day, President calls me.... You are getting transferred... I am a Zone Leader now :) I am now companions with Elder Allman from Georgia :)  He is super cool :) I am moving in today just down the street but am getting transferred again in 2 weeks. I think on the regular transfer day.... These kind of things just make my mission go by so much faster...... Time is flying by.. It's almost Christmas now.

I just want to share a funny story. We were in Priesthood class and started hearing the whooshing sound. A member looks out the window and yells smoke. I thought the church was on fire. But what happened is that a little kid just took a fire extinguisher and let it all out. The white walls are now a nice powdery pink :P It ended our church because of the fog that was still in the church.... So many crazy things seem to happen in this ward.

They say the hurricane is super strong but there is not a cloud in the sky here... Its actually been hot... Its funny because our mission president sent out all these texts to us saying that we are getting a storm. I was getting excited but scared because they said it was super strong... yeah a whole lot of nothing... :P This week has just been full of crazy things, we really didn't get to much work in...

Well I hope everyone is doing good :)
I love you all :)

December 1, 2014

Well I know its late, but they don't have turkey day here. So me and my Zone Leader went to MacDo (the most American thing we could think of here.) :) We each got Cokes, Big Macs and XL fries ;) It was super masarap (delicious) :)
This week I came across a quote that changed my attitude.
"When in life you see that you have more weaknesses than strengths. We tend to think we are getting farther and farther away from Heavenly Father. When in reality you are getting closer." :) Well that was me... I only noticed the weaknesses in our area, our ward and companion. But a thought came to me that this is all training for me to be a better person and closer to my Heavenly Father. :)
Our week was pretty hard though... Just finding LA's and finding new investigators. We met a less active that has been less active for 20 years and she introduced us to her friend. :) It was way cool :)  Sorry, nothing too exciting happened this week with investigators. We have kind of been having a dry spell with investigators progressing. Hopefully that will change  :) I really hope so :)
Sorry this email is pretty boring :)

November 24, 2014

Hello Everyone :)
Lots of things have happened this week but I feel like I write about this all the time :)
First, time seems so weird to me. Weeks have been meshing together. I have like no sense of time :P Its all just going by way to fast. Things are flying by. I mean this next week is the last week of Nov. :)
Second,  I just want to brag. I just picked up my pants that I customized. They are slacks that look like jeans :) They are so comfy :) I wish I could send a picture but I don't trust this internet shop :P Third, :) I just want to share an experience about a girl named J :) She is a neighbor of one of our recent converts. She became interested and we taught her the WOW. We gave her a blessing that she would be able to get rid of some things. That night she had a dream that her brother who died a year ago was with her and he was super, super happy. He gave her a hug and said continue. :) She immediately thought of us and knew that this was the right thing to do !! :) So, she is doing good :)
Other than that, our area is doing ok... We have been trying to find LA's and help them come back. Part of the problem with that is most of the ones that we have found, if they are not out of the country or in Manila, have been less active for 20 or 30 years. Its almost like trying to talk to investigators. Things are going by so fast and I don't want it to.... I love my mission :) I feel like I finally am becoming who I need to be :)
I love you all  :)

I love you but I don't miss you too much  :) Missionary work is amazing :)

November 17, 2014

Hello everyone :)
This week was amazing. :) We have a new IBD. Her name is sister J :) She is the neighbor of the recent convert that we just baptized. :) So we have been teaching her for like a week and I had an experience that I will never forget. I saw the light inside of her turn on when she recognized that she was feeling the spirit. She said that the feeling was telling her that she needed to continue to listen to us :) I love the spirit :) It's amazing :)
I also had another experience. We had an investigator tell us that Catholics and Mormons were the same. That fired me up and I was full of the spirit. I shared a bunch of things with them in the Bible. I don't know why I said this but I talked about becoming perfect and becoming like Jesus Christ! It stunned them, I could tell that they didn't believe it.  I sat at the next personal study thinking about that and read 3 Nephi 12:48 (I think). BE YE PERFECT EVEN AS I AND THE FATHER ARE PERFECT! :) I don't think Jesus Christ was lying :) We can become like him :)

This week was really a testimony builder :)
It was what I needed :)

I love you all :) Thank you for your prayers :)
Love

November 10, 2014

Well Everyone :)
I pretty much had an amazing week :) I worked with all the new missionaries that came in. I met a few kids from AZ. They are way cool :) It was nice to see what I was like back then. If my Tagalog was anything like theirs was, I feel bad for the people that I had to teach :p I also got a new companion :) His name is  Elder Dipla :)The smallest missionary in the mission :) He is so cool :) He is from Cavatie. In the picture he is the farthest on the right!
The best news though :) We had 4 baptisms :) Bro R, J, A and C :)  My first whole family :) They are so cool :) They have a little 6 year old that reminds me of Braden. He asked if he could get baptized too.... I wish he could have :) It was super spiritual :) The best part about it is that their daughter had died about 3 months ago and now they have hope to being sealed to her :) They really are converted and have hope for being an Eternal Family :) I also thank all the other missionaries that had a part in their life so that I could have the baptisms :)
Things are really looking up :)  I am excited :) Thanks for your prayers :)

November 3, 2014

This week I think the biggest change is my studies. I watched a video from Elder Bednar about learning. He said that when we learn we need to understand. Knowledge is good but understanding is better. :)  Just letting everyone know I finished the triple cover to cover :) but I was just skimming the surface now I am digging deep. I have been studying Alma 34 about the atonement for 2 days now. Searching for the differences between belief in Christ and faith. Also, how salvation comes and what is the meaning. :)
I got to sit in Lazboy this week :) yeah that doesn't seem like a big thing but it is to me. The very first time in my whole mission. They are so soft. Me and the other American in our house, fixed it up. I have to say it looks sweet. I mean we found a rug in the storage room and we rolled it out. :)
But the very best news :) Next week is the Baptism of my very first whole family :) A father and Mother and 2 children :) I am super stoked and can not wait :) Its the best feeling ever :) Anyway I am out of time.
Please Read your scriptures they are super important to me and I know they will become important in your life :)
